Was Hartalika Teej's full name?

Hartalika Teej is named after the legend that is associated with it. Harat means "abduction" while Aalika means "female friend". The mythology states that the goddess Parvatihad a friend who accompanied Parvati into the dense forest to defend her from her father, who wanted to get her married to Lord Vishnu

Parvati's father thought she had been abducted. Hartalikais an appropriate name of this day. In order to be Lord Shiva to be her husband performed a rigorous 'Tapasya" following her abduction. She was determined and dedicated and Lord Shiva was enthralled by her. He became her husband.
